Food & Produce
We have met all current Food Safety Authority of Ireland Food (“FSAI”) food hygiene and handling requirements. Inspection approved by HSE.
All food should be consumed within 1 hour of delivery if left unrefrigerated or within 12 hours of delivery if refrigerated, after which Anduma Cheese and Wine LTD will not be accountable for the freshness of the food.
Can I place my board in the refrigerator overnight?
Though we have many clients who do this with no complaints, it is always best to consume our boards on the day of delivery to ensure they are in prime condition and maintain optimal freshness.
Sustainability
We select packing made from environmentally sustainable materials such as plantation birch, pine, fallen palm leaves and compostable PLA. They are biodegradable and not treated with any chemicals. In order to reduce our carbon emissions at the moment we deliver once a week.
Where are you located?
We are based in 'Hour Kitchen' in Churchtown Business Park. Located in Beaumont Ave, Dublin 14, Dublin, D14 F8P4.
Can I collect my order?
Yes. You can collect your order at 'Hour Kitchen' in Churchtown Business Park. Located in Beaumont Ave, Dublin 14, Dublin, D14 F8P4. ONLY BY APPOINTMENT.
Can you remove nuts and other ingredients?
Yes. In the checkout, you can leave a comment saying which ingredients you wish to remove from your order. If you don't want nuts in your order due to allergens, we will remove them but we can't guarantee any cross-contamination since the order is prepared in an environment that handles nuts and peanuts.
Are the cheese boxes always the same?
Depends on the freshness of the ingredients, availability in the market, and season. All the pictures of the cheese boards are illustrative. We do our best to keep the same models but it can't be guaranteed.
When do the deliveries happen?
Delivery windows are usually between 11PM- 17PM. Due to the volume of orders we receive, we cannot guarantee a specific time but we will let you know a time slot of 2 hours. If you are not home during the above delivery hours, we will leave your order wherever instructed to and release responsibility. This is to help ensure that our delivery schedule stays on track. We thank you for your cooperation and understanding!
I have to cancel my order at the last minute, can I get a refund?
Because our planning process for each order begins few days out, unfortunately, we cannot give full refunds, as perishable food/product by this point has already been purchased. However, if you are canceling more than 7 days from your delivery date, we will gladly offer a 100% refund. (Corporate orders and events are not included in this).
Who are your suppliers?
We work with the best quality. Our cheese and chutneys are mostly Irish and some are European. We focus on organic and local products. Some of our suppliers are La Rousse, Sheridans Cheesemongers, and Corleggy Cheeses.
Do you sell wine?
Currently we don't sell wine but we have business partners with fantastic wines (Organic, biodynamic and naturals wines). If you wish to add wine to your event, we will forward their details.
Are you taking extra precautions for COVID-19?
Our procedures include but are not limited to:
- Staff temp check daily;
- Use of Safe Entry contact tracing to enter and leave the shop;
- Wash hands and sanitise upon entry;
- All staff must wear masks;
- Sanitise high touch areas regularly including door, fridge and oven handles;
- Wash hands and sanitise in between each order;
- Increased frequency of cleaning and sanitising all work surfaces, floors, bins, mops, brooms, etc;
- Any employee appearing unwell will be sent to see a doctor immediately;
- Contactless deliveries available upon request.
